This extensive habitat program was concerned with one of Devin's sunny slopes with a direct view of the castle scenery. The spatial and functional requirements of the investor included so many items that the standard concept of a family residence lost the scale of individual housing. The proposal therefore developed a theme of separate, but mutually connected pavilions, so that every aspect of the whole structure and its proportions would be in harmony with the surrounding environment. Ground-floor objects therefore could respond to the natural terrain profile - some of them were even partially embedded in the ground - so nothing would disturb the exceptional views. Relatively subtle structural elements alternated between atria and terraces, including plenty of attractive sensations, with one of the dominant positions filled by an impressive 50-meter swimming pool.
