Right next to the Balneotherapy building of the Military Medical Institute an old urban villa was situated. Half of the villa was owned by the investor and needed reconstruction and on the neighbouring open land a new building was built. In this way the house with the historical court gained an atypical but powerful partner. The layout of the original villa in the back section was enlarged by a new apartment, part of which is raised on pillars and dynamically juts out towards the street. As a result, it was possible to successfully use this less than optimal triangular plot of land. Between the old and the new facility arose a protected courtyard. A clinic is situated on the ground and first floors and an apartment fills the new building.
