Villa X II

It often happens that in order to build a family house on a sloping plot, a large part of the terrain is first dug up in order to build on a comfortable level. However, this will completely destroy the original character of the plot and what makes it different and special. Villa X II, on the other hand, makes friends with the slope and uses its profile for its own purposes. It is precisely the slope that enriches the dramaturgy of its interior and exterior spaces and at the same time creates an area of protected privacy. The thoughtfully modeled slope seems to be part of the figure of the house and adds a bit of sensual curve to its austere linearity. The living is developed on two floors with glass facades so that what is outside - the greenery of the garden and the views of the city - reach every living room. Villa X II is part of a new group of family houses, which unites a unified handwriting of dealing with matter and means of expression. co-author: Eugen Kullman
